Labor Day Weekend Style

With the summer months winding down, Labor Day weekend is quickly approaching. Though this may seem sad as it means summer is almost over, it also means that this is the perfect time to take a small vacation (and wear white pants)! There are plenty of places to travel for Labor Day weekend. Whether you’ll be in the mountains, at the beach or by the lake, you have come to the right place to find out the best outfits for your time off.

Beach

With this being likely the last weekend at the beach, there is no doubt your time will be spent by the water. That means it is essential to pack swimsuits, cover-ups, hats and cute sandals. For any time not spent at the beach, a cute sundress will likely suffice. While you’ll be soaking up the sun, looking cute is easy with these essential beach picks! And don’t forget the sunscreen.

Lake

Spending the weekend at your lake house? Or at a friends? You’re likely boating, swimming or having barbecues. With that being said, the obvious essentials for this trip are bathing suits and cute but casual outfits for the night. The choice of swimsuit is really dependent on your body type but there are a few styles out that there really do look good on everyone! One piece swimsuit are great because they can cover the areas you don’t want people to see but with today’s designs of the additional cut outs and low necks, they can still be cute and on-trend! For a two-piece swimsuit, going with a high waisted bottom is also another great choice as it will accentuate your curves in all the right places! Other than swimsuits, if you’ll be attending barbecues then maxi dresses, jean shorts and cute tanks should be your essentials of the weekend. A light sweater will also come in handy as it can be chilly by the lake! Don’t forget, sandals and white sneaker will be sure to do the trick and pair well with most outfits.

Mountains

If you’re making the most of your weekend in the mountains then the outdoors is probably where you’ll be spending the majority of your time.  Whether you are into hiking or simply walking around the area, athleisure wear will likely be your best bet! In addition, for fancier evenings out then white jeans and a cute blouse is the answer. Be sure the check the weather, as temperatures are often cooler in the mountains and packing  a sweater is probably an essential.
